Donusia Lipinski to Speak at the Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach, SC

Donusia Lipinski will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 12:30 pm.   Donusia will discuss the economic contributions of both immigrants and undocumented immigrants to South Carolina and will explore why undocumented immigrants don’t just ‘get in line” and get legal status.

The Truth behind the President’s Executive Order: Presentation in North Myrtle Beach Library in SC

March 29, 2017–Donusia L Lipinski, Founder and CEO of Myrtle Beach Immigration Law Center, spoke at the North Myrtle Beach Library at 910 1st Ave S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 to an animated group of community members and business leaders regarding the basics of our current immigration system, what parts are broken, why we have undocumented immigrants, and how the Administration’s current immigration policies are impacting our community, families, and the economy. We appreciate the Grand Strand Indivisible Group for inviting us and sponsoring this event. This is the third community event at which Donusia was a speaker in the past three weeks.

Mañana en la tarde tengo el honor de estar en Pawleys Island, SC en la Librería Waccamaw para hablar con la comunidad sobre la Verdad detrás de la Orden Ejecutiva del Presidente y como afecta la comunidad inmigrante en nuestro Estado. Attention South Carolina:  If undocumented immigrants are removed, South Carolina stands to lose $1.8 billion in economic activity. 

  • If they are granted legal status, they would pay $40.7 million in state and local taxes.
  • Undocumented immigrants make up at least 2% of South Carolina’s population.  They paid $33.4 million in state and local taxes in 2010.
